Hand Scraped Wood Floors

If you are one of those people who like the look of distressed wood, then hand scraped wood floors are for you.  Yes, you can still get hand scraped floors that have really been done with the skilled hands of a craftsman, or opt for cheaper, machine done distressed floors. 

Real hand scraped wood floors add texture and a unique look to hardwood.  The Amish are very skilled and produce some of the best floors you will find.  The planks of wood are done one at a time so that no two planks are alike.  The result is a floor that has character and individuality not found with machine crafting.  The planks will also vary depending on the artisan as each person has their own style, some will have a heavier hand and scrape more of the finish, thus a different look each time.

Hand scraped floors can also be done by machine but you will always get a pattern repeat in your flooring.  We much prefer that if a floor is to be hand scraped it be done the traditional way.  Why settle for less when you can have the best?
